Our big-button telephone, EZ Dial™, is remarkably easy to use considering it’s really a sophisticated emergency communications system with two way voice integrations. The commercial-grade speakerphone answers five preset numbers automatically. It has three programmable emergency keys and is fully integrated with all of our EZ Care™ technology.

Let’s take a look at this common nursing home scenario. Mrs. Miller, an elderly resident, stumbles and falls on route to the washroom. She pushes the help button on her EZ Key™ pendant. A text message goes immediately to her nurse, Sue. Sue calls Mrs. Miller on her EZ Dial™ room phone sitting beside the bed. Mrs. Miller can’t get to the phone, but that’s OK.

The speaker phone answers automatically. With a very sensitive microphone, the nurse hears Mrs. Miller crying for help and rushes to the room. If Mrs. Miller is in a different room, that’s no problem. Her location is automatically reported with the distress call. As an added feature, residents can use the phone to check the daily menu or activities list with one button touch.

The best feature of EZ Dial™ is its ability to pay for and fund itself. By directly supplying resident telephone lines, FIRETEC creates a self-sustaining revenue generator for the care facility, with added monthly positive cash flow from long distance and monthly phone line rental.
